How do I order?

It's simple! Tell us what design you would like, or send us a picture. Agree a price and pay a small deposit to reserve the date especially for you. The balance can be paid upon delivery or collection. Please note that deposits are non-refundable, unless an error has been made with the cake design, as payment of a deposit reserves a delivery date, and prevents us from taking further orders.

Payments can be paid via PayPal, cheque, Bank Transfer or cash.

Do you deliver?

We provide FREE delivery to all areas within Northamptonshire for orders over £35. Otherwise, we charge a small delivery fee of only £3.

How much do your cakes cost?

Obviously, each cake price is dependant on style, size and decorations required, but we always promise

to offer you exceptional quality, design and value for money.

Do you make Photo-cakes?

Yes, send us any picture, either by post or e-mail, and have this on the top of your cake! What an Amazing effect!

How much notice do you require?

Usually at least 5 days notice is required. However, we will try and accommodate even shorter requests.

In respect of wedding cakes, we require at least a month's notice.

Are all your cakes sponge based?

Designmeacake is home to the famous 'Designmeacake Sponge', available in a wide variety of flavours at no extra charge. Please ask for details of our flavours. We also provide fabulous fruit cakes, which are moist and delicious. We also cater for those who wish to order cakes using fresh cream, and/or fresh fruits.

What are the shelf life of your cakes?

Sponge cakes will stay fresh for 3 days following delivery. Fruit cakes have a shelf life of 2 months.

Food Safefty

For your safety, we hold a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering and are Local Authority registered.

Mobile Site

Although our mobile site is live and functions correctly, we actually find the standard web version remains preferable even on a mobile.  Just a tip!
